Preset Pack one - St Ives
Preset Pack one - St Ives
I'm very excited to release my first colour preset pack for Adobe Lightroom. Inspired by the light of St Ives and some of my favourite film stocks, but with my own approach to colour grading. These presets have been specially formulated to provide maximum editable working for your raw files. Utilising profiles within presets to give you a fantastic colour base to work from.
Why Profiles? You can either simply have your edit done in a couple of clicks or dial in your own amount of any grade and make all your own adjustments. This way you have full range of all the untouched sliders to really hone your own look using these profiles as a starting point. The power of profiles unlocks the ability to make these grades (dare I say) universal (certainly work with all the images that myself and my beta testers have tried out).
Included with this pack:
DB 01 - my go to preset that’s a great all rounder and kicking in that warmth I love.
DB 02 - a more subtle approach with extra flexibility for your edits.
DB 03 - favourite of all the beta testers , DB 03 is warm and perfect for a summer party.
DB 04 - specially formulated to render green landscapes like a dream. *cough 400H *
DB 05 - say hello to pastel tones, and designed for those quiet back street of St Ives.
Also included are few of my favourite tools:
Filmic Grain +0 / +1 / +2
Reduce highlights +0 / +1 / +2
Shadow contrast +0 / +1 / +2
I'm particularly proud of this grain tool, my most realistic approach to film grain with variation in density from shadows to a smooth highlight roll off. (Please ensure you using the latest version of Adobe Lightroom classic to utilise this grain).
I’d love to see what you create, tag #DanBakerPresets
